Ausstellung "Prora nach 1945" vom Prora Zentrum – Geschichtsmuseum auf der Insel Rügen

In addition to the daily news, we will henceforth report on news from the PRORA-CENTER here once a month. If you would like to receive this information by mail in the future, please contact us at info@prora-zentrum.de.

We would like to announce the following news:

Reopening

As of January 31, 2022, PRORA-CENTER has reopened its exhibition to guests. When visiting, the rules from the regulations of the state of Mecklenburg-Vorpommern apply.

Personnel change

As already publicly communicated, the long-time director, Susanna Misgajski, has taken a well-deserved retirement. Her position has been taken over by Dennis Grunendahl, who moves up to the director position after two years of service and now forms a team with new colleague Stefan Gerber.

Annual planning 2022

Since the reopening, it’s now possible to visit the temporary exhibition “Death to Nazi criminals” – Resistance to National Socialism at the End of the War, which was made available to us by the German Resistance Memorial Center until the end of April.
Since an exhibition opening in January was not possible due to the pandemic, we are planning a finissage on Friday, April 22, for which we could invite exhibition curator, Dr Petra Behrends, as a speaker.
Further events are currently in development and will be published in our program flyer in due course.
