Oral history is an important part of our work. It touches our three keywords education, research, and documentation in equal measure.
For several years now, PRORA-ZENTRUM has been part of the Oral History Digital network, where we partly learn from larger as well as more experienced institutions, but also participate in exciting discussions.
Above all, the project is about the sustainable digitization of life history interviews, uniform rules of published collections and practicable access for users.
The website is now online and participants from all over Germany gathered in Berlin for the release.
